3 Reasons Why ISI Could Finish Higher 2026/26 Season
As many fans already know, ISI Dangkor Senchey FC finished the 2025/26 season in 11th place. This was not the result the club had hoped for. Ahead of the 2026/27 season, the club has made several important changes to strengthen the team.
Here are three key reasons why ISI could achieve a better league position this season.
1. New Player Signings
ISI has strengthened its squad by signing several quality players. The new arrivals include Kouch Sokumpheak, Kan Mo, Yudai Ogawa, Phan Sophen, goalkeeper Hul Kimhuy, Thierry Bin, Ry Leapheng, Sath Rosib, and goalkeeper John Ruro. The club is also expected to announce a few more signings in the coming weeks.
These new players can increase competition within the squad and give the coaching staff more options when selecting the starting lineup.
2. Coaching Team
ISI has appointed Conor Nestor as the club's new head coach. He brings around 15 seasons of coaching experience. The club has also strengthened its technical staff. In February 2026, ISI completed Phase 1 of its new training centre. The new facility includes two full-size natural grass pitches (68 × 105 metres), a fitness training area, offices for staff and coaches, and modern changing rooms.
